Sharing with family
Invite the other parent and family members, choose what they see, and manage who's in.
Two kinds of invite
- The other parent sees everything and can add to the book, like you. A child's book has up to two parents (a pet's, up to six owners).
- A family member (grandparents, aunts, uncles) sees the photos and posts you choose, and can leave a heart and a comment. Health notes always stay private.
Invite someone
- Tap your child's picture on Home and then Share (their name)'s book (or Settings, Account, Who can see your memories).
- Choose The other parent or A family member.
- For a family member, choose what they'll see: every photo and post, or only posts where certain people are tagged.
- Enter their email. The invite only works for that email.
- Tap Make the invite, then send it on WhatsApp, by email, with another app, or copy the link or code.
An invite works once, for 7 days.
Joining a book
They tap the link and sign in with the invited email, and the book appears. Or they open 4D Ages, choose Join with a code, and paste the code.
Managing who's in
- Waiting to be accepted lists invites you can send again or cancel.
- Tap a person to remove them, remove and block them, or change what a family member sees.
- The parent who created the book can remove anyone. The other parent can remove family members, or leave the book.
Your family list
Menu, Family is your list of relatives for tagging. Adding someone there doesn't give them access. The Family tree lets you drag people into place and connect them.
