Settings, privacy and your data

Language, dark mode, app lock, backups, downloading your data and deleting your account.

Language and look

App lock

Settings, Privacy, App lock asks for your fingerprint, face or phone PIN to open 4D Ages, and again after a minute away. Set up a screen lock on your phone first.

Backing up to Google Drive

In Settings, Backup, switch on Back up to Google Drive. Your books go into one small file in your own Drive, soon after each change. Restore replaces the books on this phone with the backup, so anything added since is lost.

A copy of your data

Settings, Account, Download a copy of my data saves everything in your books, with the photos and videos on this device, as one zip file.

Signing out

Sign out keeps your books in your account. Sign back in to see everything again.

Deleting your account

Settings, Account, Remove my data and delete my account. Confirm with your password (or Google), type DELETE, and tap Delete forever. This can't be undone. A book you share with another parent stays with them. You can also delete your account from the website: Delete your account.
