Making a book

Turn the memories you've saved into a book, step by step.

Start a book

Open the Book tab. The book is for the child or pet you're looking at. Under Create a new book, choose a kind:

Before You Arrived: the scans, the bump and the waiting, week by week.
Our Growing Story: photos, stories and firsts, for one child or the whole family.
Another Year of You: a year of their life, from one birthday to the next.
Faces I Love: a little book of the family's faces and names.
In Loving Memory: a gentle keepsake for a pet who has died.

Choose the memories

Pick the time of their story, or set your own dates.
Choose what goes in: photos and stories, firsts and milestones, growth, keepsakes, the family tree, and, if you like, the foods they tried (Foods tried is off unless you turn it on). Tap + beside one to choose single memories.
Choose Automatic, Highlights or Everything. You'll see about how many pages and photos it makes.
A family book can include brothers and sisters too.

Design it

Pick a theme, with its own painted covers, frames, drawings and fonts in English and Hebrew. Tap i to see what's in one. Or choose Simple to pick your own look (Playful or Classic) and colours.
Choose a cover, and write the title, a line under it and a message for the last page.
Choose the size: A4 portrait or landscape, or a small, medium or large square.
Tap a page, or Edit pages, to change anything on it (see The book editor).

Review

The last step shows the whole book as it prints and checks every page. Fix anything under Needs fixing first; Show takes you to the page. When it says Your book is ready!, you can download it (see Downloading your book).

Good to know

Your book saves as you go. Finish it later, even on another device.
Making a book never changes or deletes your memories.
Memories you add later can flow into the book. Pages you've changed by hand are kept.
From the list of their books you can rename a book, make a copy, or delete it. Deleting a book leaves its photos and memories in the story.
