The book editor
Change any page of your book: photos, words, layouts and more.
Opening it
In the Design step, tap a page or Edit pages. Changes save as you go, and you can undo and redo. Tap Done to go to Review.
On a page
- Add words or Add a photo, a decoration or an empty frame.
- Shuffle layout tries another layout that keeps everything on the page.
- New page after, copy, move or delete a page. Deleting a page leaves its memories in the app.
- Layers lists everything on the page from front to back, so you can reach something hidden under another.
Photos
- Tap a photo to move and zoom it, turn it, replace it, or take it out and keep the frame.
- Photos to drag onto the page shows the book's photos: drag one onto a frame or the page.
- Choose a frame for each photo, from Clean or Instant photo to the theme's own frames and the Botanical flowers.
Words
Tap words, then Edit the words (on a computer, double-click). Change the font, size, style, alignment and colour. If words don't fit, the page says so in red.
Pages
- The strip of pages under the page: tap one to open it, or hold and drag it to move it.
- All pages shows the whole book. Hold and drag to reorder.
- Lock this page keeps a finished page as it is, even if you change the book's theme.
- Reset the page goes back to the automatic layout.
Phone or computer
Everything works on the phone. For more room, open your book on a computer at 4dages.com. On a computer you can also use the keyboard: arrows move things, Ctrl+D duplicates, Ctrl+G groups.
