Getting started
Create your account, add your little one, and find your way around 4D Ages.
Create your account
- Open 4D Ages and tap New here? Create an account.
- Enter your email and choose a password of at least 8 characters.
- Tick the two boxes: that you're 18 or over and agree to the Terms and Privacy policy, and that 4D Ages can keep the health information you add (pregnancy, growth, health notes) to make your books.
- Tap Create account. We send you an email: tap the button in it and 4D Ages opens, signed in.
You can also tap Sign in with Google. You'll be asked to agree to the terms first. Didn't get the email? Tap Send the email again (you can ask again after a minute).
Add your little one
After signing in, tap Add your little one. Choose:
- My bump for a baby on the way (with a due date),
- My kid for a baby or child already here, or
- My pet for a dog, cat, bird, hamster, snake or horse.
Their profile
To change it later, tap their picture on Home (the one with the pen) and then Save profile.
- Add their name (a nickname works), birth date or due date, and whether they're a girl, a boy, or you'd rather not say.
- Pick a colour for their pages. Colourful is the default; you can change it any time.
- Add a profile photo, or pick an emoji instead.
- Tap the button to start their chapter.
Finding your way around
- On the phone, the tabs at the bottom are Home, Milestones, Growth and Book. For a pet they're Home, Health, Stories and Book.
- The + button adds a photo, a story, a first, a measurement and more.
- The menu (☰) at the top holds Family, Classics, Health, Settings and Help & Feedback.
- Each child or pet has a round chip along the top. Tap one to switch; press and drag to reorder them.
- On a computer, the website has the same pages in its header, with Add and Upload instead of the + button.
Everyone together
Once you have two or more profiles, a My family chip appears. Its Timeline shows everyone's posts in date order, and Door frame stands the children's heights side by side.
